The newly constructed Riverview Village Estates Phase III in Swift Current had its official grand opening. P3A was proud to be a part of the ribbon cutting ceremony which included about 250 guests. The multi-residential project provides retirement residents with a range of independent and assisted living options, as well as a number of indoor and outdoor amenity spaces.
In addition to presentations by the building managers, board members, mayor and MLAs, a couple of residents spoke about how the facility provides a home-like experience and a sense of family. The building overlooks the city and surrounding farmland; the location is special for residents, as many of them grew up in the area. The event paid tribute to the Métis and a member of the Métis community talked about the land and its significance.
